Stepping into Courage in Coaching

What’s your biggest fear as a coach?
🧱 “My fear is that I am not doing coaching right.”
🧱 “My fear is that I am not getting better as a coach.”
🧱 “My fear is that my language barrier is hindering my coachees from understanding me.”

We all have fears as coaches, no matter how much experience we have. We asked a group of coaches to compassionately explore their fears with us in our workshop last Saturday at CoachUP.

We asked them (and ourselves):
🟢 In what way is your fear serving you?
🟣 In what way is your fear limiting you?
🔵 What might be a reframing of your fear that explains how it serves you?
🟡 What would you like your relationship with your fear to be?

We were humbled by their thoughtful and vulnerable responses. As a group we were able to encourage and inspire each other to keep moving forward, acknowledging our fears and using them as a source of service and growth.

How does fear serve you in your coaching (or elsewhere in your life)?
