Leading Across Cultures: Cross-Cultural Communication and Collaboration for Leadership
Discovery Bay International School, Hong Kong
North Plaza Campus, Sixth Form Centre
Thursday, 24 September 2026
9:00 - 10:30 am; Snacks and networking from 8:30 am
Leaders in international schools face a multitude of cross-cultural interactions each week. Faculty and business staff, students, and parents all come from diverse backgrounds which can result in communication mishaps, delayed alignment, or unintended conflict.
This 90-minute, interactive workshop will raise leaders’ awareness of cultural communication and collaboration styles and give an overview of some cultural values that impact school communication. Leaders will leave with practical tools to navigate cross-cultural collaboration with greater ease and success.
Special attention will be given to Western-Asian interactions, and participants are invited to anonymously submit cross-cultural scenarios that are relevant to them.
Registered participants will receive detailed event information one week before the training.
Please read the full terms and conditions and privacy policy.
The workshop cost contributes to the speakers’ flights and accommodation.
