Our Reflections on EdInspire 2025
Reflecting on EdInspire, one of The Bright Side's biggest projects to date! Organising an event of this scale was a massive learning experience for us, and it truly highlighted the power of partnership, connection, resilience, and teamwork.
🔴 Partnership: Working with David Burke, whose complementary expertise was invaluable. The experience also strengthened our duo partnership through values-clarifying decisions and extensive communication.
🔴 Connection: Our core purpose is to help people connect and feel a sense of belonging. EdInspire was a joy, this time connecting the whole Singapore educator community—we want to do more of this!
🔴 Resilience: The "optimistic waiting" for speakers, sponsors, and attendees was a test of resilience, proving that not knowing can still build strength. (We found it similar to trusting the process in a coaching session!)
🔴 Teamwork: The event's success was powered by incredible support from our advisory committee, the Dulwich teams (CPD and AV), amazing on-the-day volunteers, and our funny and helpful photographer (Alexander from Media Unboxx). Teamwork is crucial.
We are so proud to have created something new and learned so many valuable lessons along the way. Thank you to all our friends and colleagues for your trust and encouragement!
