Challenging Challenging Cross-Cultural Conversations in the School Shop

This workshop is designed for international school support staff who work in the school’s uniform shop. Working in an international environment with Western and Asian colleagues and customers can lead to misunderstandings or unintended conflict. This workshop assists staff in understanding cultural norms and differences, boundaries, and the expectations of an international school community. After the workshop, retail staff will be equipped with strategies to manage cross-cultural conversations, including relationship building, avoiding offense, and diffusing challenging situations.
